What should parents expect from VBC?
VBC is a community basketball program focusing on teaching the fundamentals of basketball while also developing players physical and emotional well-being. We expect both players and parents to have respect for teammates, competitors, our volunteer coaches, and the referees of each game.
Can parents help out in any way?
Absolutely! As a volunteer organization, VBC needs volunteers to make the program a success each season. We are always looking for parents to be a coach or assistant coach of teams, work concessions/admissions, keep the scorebook, or run the scoreboard. See our volunteers section for more information about these opportunities. Parents are the key factor for the success and continuity of VBC.
